How can I check if my device is carrier unlocked?

You cannot use eSIM if your phone is carrier locked. Please check the carrier lock status for each device as follows:

For Apple devices:

Go to [Settings]

Choose [General]

[About], and scroll down.

If you find [Carrier Lock – No SIM Restrictions] and [Digital SIM – IMEI] (a series of numbers), then your phone is compatible with eSIM.

If you see [SIM Restricted], then your phone does not support eSIM.

For Samsung and Google devices:

Navigate to [Settings]

[Connections]

[Mobile Networks]

Select [Network Operators].

If multiple networks appear, your phone might be carrier unlocked.

If only one result is returned from the network search or if the Network Search option is unavailable in the Network menu, your phone may be carrier locked.

The only way to be sure if your phone is carrier unlocked is to review the current policy with your service provider.
