What to do if I can't scan the eSIM activation code?
First, you need to check if your device is compatible with eSIM. We've already provided a tutorial video on how to check if your phone can use eSIM.
Second step is to make sure whether your device is connected to the internet. Please ensure that when you're setting up the eSIM activation code, you must have an active internet connection to proceed with the installation.
Lastly, you should check if the eSIM activation code has been added to another device. Each activation code can only be used once, so if it has been scanned on a different device or has expired, your phone will display a message like "Unable to complete mobile data change."
If you've tried all three methods and still can't resolve the issue, it's possible that your phone is unable to scan the code. In this case, you can manually add the eSIM:
Enter the SMDP+ address.
Input the activation code and confirmation code.
All of this information should be available in the email sent by the eSIM provider when you placed your order.
